  1. Welcome to SCEdit V2.01, ¬© 1993 CICA Inc.
  2. SCEdit is a Strategic Conquest‚Ñ¢ V3 gamefile mini
  3. editor. SCEdit has three functions:
  4.  
  5. (1) Makes all map squares visible in a Strategic
  6.  Conquest V3 gamefile (you can thus see all of the
  7. unexplored territory and see where the ememy
  8. cities are located).
  9.  
  10. (2) Maximizes the strength (to 31) of any piece
  11. (this is quite a bit above the normal strength of
  12. a piece, which ranges from 1 to about 17).  As an
  13. example, allows you to create "super" destroyers
  14. or "super" bombers!
  15.  
  16. (3) Allows you to change any piece into any other
  17. piece type; i.e. you may change a lowly fighter to
  18. a bomber, or a submarine to a transport.  Note
  19. that when you transform one piece into another
  20. type of piece, the new piece retains the strength
  21. and certain attributes of the old piece. Therefore
  22. you should be careful about transforming pieces,
  23. making sure only appropriate transformations
  24. are done (do not transform pieces with no fuel
  25. into bombers or land armies into ships, etc.)!
  26. You may also wish to strengthen a piece once you
  27. have transformed it.
